The American harpsichordist Jory Vinikour made his Washington recital debut Saturday afternoon at the Library of Congress. A Chicago native, Vinikour has made Paris his base of operations since 1990. Appropriately for a concert devoted to three suites by Handel and Bach, he played the beautiful and resonant replica of an 18th-century German two-manual harpsichord by the distinguished builders Thomas and Barbara Wolf of The Plains, Va.
